'E.S.P.'
'E.S.P.' is a tale about a young woman, who is tortured by the past.
There was a 6 year old girl once, who became a victim of the paranormal. Extra Sensory Perception is a gift that many don't know we all possess, although in a very limited form. That does not apply to Jess Ashley. She had a series of visions as a young child, all of which determined disaster. Two of those visions ended the life of her parents, and on the same day.
The trauma of these visions compressed Jess's life and she spends years of her life in counsel, under the supervision of a Doctor of Psychology, William Fitzpatrick.
Now a grown woman, Jess begins to unravel the truth about her past, something which has been kept from her by a number of individuals to protect her. But the past becomes the present and Jess starts to realise that she is not of the ordinary, and becomes involved in a series of events that threatens to destroy not only her own life, but that of those directly around her.
After meeting with Dr Fitzpatrick, he explains what she saw when she was six, and informs Jess of her extraordinary ability of sight, commonly known as Extra Sensory Perception.
He tries to direct her into acceptance of this 'gift', but after endless nightmares regarding her parents, she becomes scared, confused and seriously deluded to the point of self destruction.
She becomes lost within the visions, and the difference between reality and the alternate she sees begins to overwhelm her.
Jess tries to end the nightmares by attempting suicide. She is saved by karma, and a young man she hardly knows.
Will this be enough to truly save her? Or is she forever lost within the paranormal...
