'Finding Elvis'
'Finding Elvis' is a tale of deceit, heartbreak and a lifetime of uncertainty ahared by two different people, from two different parts of the World, unaware that they are bonded by a legacy that could smother their entire lives.
Walter McGregor is a 44 year old farmer and a somewhat simple man from a small village in the North of Scotland. Lisa-Marie Donaldson is an educated woman; born in Las Vegas, 34, and living life under the shadow of one of the most iconic figures of the last century. they have nothing in common whatsoever, save one thing; their father.
Walter loses his farm, as well as his estranged mother, who dies in hospital. He hasn't spoken to her in the last thirteen years because of her lies and deliberate deceit about the origins of his father. Her death prompts his friend, Bob, a shopkeeper in the same village as Walter, to persuade him to say his final farewell to his mother.

She dies before they get there, but she leaves a letter for Walter. A letter to try and explain the last and lost thirteen years. Walter inherits a house and £10,000 through his late mothers' will, as well as a secret that could change his life forever.
With the farm lost, and a life now to be lived, Walter takes a chance and travels to America in search for clues to a connection between what is stated in the letter, and his new found status.
Lisa-Marie arrives on the scene in Las Vegas and they form a friendship, unaware of what and who has brought them together. They share the same secret, separated by ten years, and told by the one woman.

The connection between the revelation in the letter, and their own lives are unfound until Walter spots someone in The Meditation Garden in Graceland. His attention is then drawn to a message written in the Garden guestbook, and the chain of truth begins to form, or so he thinks. Walter returns To Vegas to find that Lisa-Marie has left without saying goodbye. Unhappy with his findings, Walter returns to Glasgow to take up residency in the Glasgow home left to him by his late mother. But the truth is edging closer and will reveal itself through the un-likeliest of sources, and from the most pathetic of circumstances.

Lisa-Marie turns up at Walters' new home, with something important to tell him. They talk and she discovers that they share the same secret. They share the same bond. A discovery is made and they are both finally in possession of the truth they have been searching for.
